Set across the Nile from Luxor, the West Bank is an absolute must-see. It’s:
- The Valley of Kings is the ancient burial ground used by the Pharoahs and dignitries from the 18th to the 20th dynasties.
- Hatshepsut’s temple, Deir El Bahari, Ancient Egypt. For a look round this exquisite colonnaded complex carved from a cliff face.
- Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues that stand guard over the area. An enthralling glimpse into the times of the Pharaohs.
-Valley of Queens, is royal necropolis.
The East bank of the River Nile where Thebes – the ancient Egyptian capital – once stood, Luxor City.
- The Luxor temple, built during the eighteenth dynasty by Amenhotep III and added to by Ramses II.
- Karnak, no site in Egypt is more impressive than Karnak. It is the largest temple complex ever built by man, and represents the combined achievement of many generations of ancient builders. The Temple of Karnak is actually three main temples, smaller enclosed temples, and several outer temples.

Trip to Dendera temple & Abydos temple

We will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor by an air conditioned private vehicle to have a relaxing drive to Dendera.
The Temple of Hathor at Dendera, on the Nile north of Luxor, is one of the latest Egyptian temples. Dedicated to the wife of the god Horus, it was built in the Roman times and its decorations include Roman emperors alongside Egyptian gods.
Temple of Seti I at Abydos
The Temple of Seti I is best-preserved and famous for its gorgeous reliefs. Two wide courtyards (c and e) lead to the central doorway of the main temple with 12 square columns. Behind it there is the first hypostyle hall (f) with 24 papyrus columns. Seven doorways lead into the second hypostyle hall (g) with 36 pillars which serves as a vestibule for the seven cult chapels (h) in the west wall dedicated to Seti I, Ptah, Re-Horakhty, Amun-Re, Osiris, Isis and Horus. Back in the second hypostyle hall there are two doorways in the south wall. The doorway on the left leads into a corridor called the "Abydos King List" in which Seti I and his young son Ramses II offer to a list of cartouches of 76 known kings beginning with the Pharao Menes of Dynasty I and ending with Seti I. Some of the rulers omitted include Hatshepsut, Akhenaten, Semenkhare, Tutankhamun and Ay.

Day 1:

Day 2:
After an early start at around 3:15 in the morning you will travel to Abu Simbel, where you will then visit the two Temples of Ramses II. Here you'll learn all about the Temples at Abu Simbel, which are among the most magnificent monuments in the world.
Following your extensive tour of the temples, you'll return to Aswan and visit the High Dam, Philae temple and the unfinished Obelisk or enjoy a relaxing Felucca ride before driving back to Luxor, where you will be returned to your Luxor hotel.
